Alanna and Triciah of Loc'd & Lit smiling by a sunlit window, each holding an open book — Alanna in brown holding "Black-Owned," Triciah in a red-and-white top holding an illustrated novel.

Two girls, one love of books.

Blackety Black. Bronx Born. Caribbean Raised.

We fell in love with books that finally looked like us: stories with our neighborhoods, our music, and our people on the page. That love is what built Book'd by Loc'd & Lit, rooted in Antigua and Nevis, raised on hip-hop and R&B, and loc'd since day one. Every title on our shelves is one we've read ourselves and can't stop recommending, so we made it easy to shop them below.
